We wanted to make Dad a unique cake this year and since his favorite meal is lasagna I thought, “why not try a lasagna cake?”  So here it is.  Dad hasn’t seen it yet but since he is not a computer guy, I figure it is safe to post it…as long as none of you tell. ~Christina

The cake itself is red velvet with buttercream filling. Chocolate covered rice krispies make up the “ground beef” layer. Noodles are made of fondant and gumpaste and hand shaped. The “meatballs” are chocolate rice krispie treats covered in butter cream “sauce” and sprinkles with white chocolate “cheese”.
